Pretty Paper (album)
Pretty Paper is a Christmas-themed studio album by American country singer Willie Nelson. It was released on November 6, 1979, and is Nelson's 24th studio album and his first Christmas album. The 29-minute, 15-second record was released by Columbia Records and produced by Booker T. Jones, reuniting Nelson with Jones after their work on the Stardust album the year before. The title track, written by Nelson, had been a Christmas hit in 1963 when Roy Orbison recorded it, and Nelson had recorded it himself in 1964. Pretty Paper sits between Sings Kristofferson (1979) and The Electric Horseman (1980) in Nelson's discography.
