Ranch to Market Road 473 (RM 473) is a road in Kendall and Blanco counties, Texas. It runs about 39.7 miles from Comfort to RM 32. The road starts in Comfort at State Highway 27 and goes through Comfort’s business district, where it intersects Business US 87. It passes under I-10/US 87 but there’s no direct ramp to the freeway. East of Comfort, RM 473 reaches Sisterdale and briefly runs with RM 1376. It continues to Kendalia and meets US 281 south of Twin Sisters. RM 473 and US 281 share the road for about two miles; then US 281 goes north and RM 473 heads east again, ending at RM 32.

History:
- Began as FM 473 on July 9, 1945, from US 87 in Comfort to Nichols Ranch 4.7 miles east.
- Extended in 1949 to 4.7 miles east of Nichols Ranch, and then to Sisterdale later that year.
- Reached RM 474 on December 18, 1951.
- Reached US 281 on January 29, 1953, replacing FM 1622.
- Designation changed to RM 473 on October 1, 1956.
- The section between US 281 and RM 32 was added on November 26, 1969.
