Sadovo, Russia
Sadovo is a small village in Krasnoznamensky District, Kaliningrad Oblast, Russia. It lies in the historic region of Lithuania Minor. The village was first mentioned in 1628 as part of Ducal Prussia, a vassal of Poland. In the 18th century it became part of the Kingdom of Prussia, and from 1871 it belonged to Germany's East Prussia. After World War II, Sadovo became part of the Soviet Union, and today it is in Russia. In 2010 the population was 288, and in 2021 it was 271: about 78% Russian, 13% Armenian, and 8% Lithuanian.
