The National Assembly for the 27th Parliament was chosen in the 2019 general election. It sat from 22 May 2019 to 21 May 2024, and remained able to function until 28 May 2024, the day before the 2024 general election.
The African National Congress (ANC) held the majority in the National Assembly.
A list of Members of Parliament, with their party affiliations and the party lists from which they were elected, was current as of 2 May 2024.
Vacancies: A seat becomes vacant if a member dies, resigns, ceases to be eligible, leaves the party that nominated them, or is elected President of South Africa. Vacancies are filled from the same party list as the former member.
