Lisa Anne Edwards, born 25 September 1958 in Adelaide, is an Australian singer and musician. She performs as a solo artist and as a backing vocalist, and she plays percussion and flute. She grew up with a jazz pianist father and a mother who was a stage performer, started performing at seven, and formed a school quartet called Harmony. She has based much of her career in Melbourne and began her professional work in South Australia and Sydney in the late 1970s.

In 1992 she scored a top 5 ARIA hit with Cry, a cover of Godley and Creme. Edwards has worked with many artists, including John Farnham, Kylie Minogue, Olivia Newton-John, and Real Life. She sang on Minogue’s Enjoy Yourself Tour in 1990 and Intimate and Live Tour in 1998, and she performed at the John Lennon tribute concert in Liverpool. She has contributed to film soundtracks like Crocodile Dundee and Dead End Drive-In, and she has been part of groups such as Short Circuit, White Light Orchestra, and Noel’s Cowards.

As a solo artist, Edwards released Thru the Hoop in 1993, State of the Heart in 2005, and I’m Still the Woman in 2022. She contributed Christmas tracks to The Spirit of Christmas series in the 1990s, toured with Girls, Girls, Girls in 2001, and remained a frequent backing singer with John Farnham’s band through 2010. She has also supported many international artists and continues to perform with Farnham’s band and as a solo artist. She is an Australia Day ambassador for Victoria. Her partner is Michael Turner, a barrister, and they have a child.
