Joe Zeller (Joseph Thomas Zeller) was an American football guard who played in the NFL. He was born May 2, 1908, in East Chicago, Indiana, and died September 23, 1983, in Chicago, Illinois.

At Indiana University, he played both football and basketball. He earned second-team All-American honors in football in 1931. In the 1931–32 year, he won the Balfour Award as the most valuable player in both sports and served as senior class president. He finished his college career by playing every minute of his final five games.

In professional football, Zeller played one season with the Green Bay Packers in 1932 and six seasons with the Chicago Bears from 1933 to 1938.

He was inducted into the Indiana University Hall of Fame in 2011.
