Lexicon Avenue
Lexicon Avenue is an electronic music group from Newcastle upon Tyne, England. The members are Scott Bradford, Mark Armstrong, and Chris Scott. They started in 1997 and have been active again since 2014. The band runs its own label, Forensic Records, which released their first track, “Here I Am,” and they have released and remixed for Saw Recordings, Hooj Choons, Renaissance, and Yoshitoshi. They have played all over the world, including Japan, Brazil, Portugal, the United States, and more. They’ve remixed tracks for artists such as Medway, Habersham & Phil K, Dave Gahan, and Depeche Mode—the 2003 remix of “Only When I Lose Myself.” They also contributed an entry to NRK Sound Division’s Nite Life series. Bradford and Scott collaborate on other projects like New Phunk Theory, Little Green Men, Third Movement, and Fishead with Satoshi Tomiie. Chris Scott fronts Echomen and Mooncat with Anton Fielding, releasing EPs on Hooj Choons and The End Recordings. He also produced the 1995 hit “I Believe” by Happy Clappers.
