Dracula is a 1986 text adventure game by CRL Group for the Commodore 64, Amstrad CPC and ZX Spectrum. Based on Bram Stoker's Dracula, it follows an English lawyer who travels to the Carpathian region to meet Count Dracula over a routine property deal, only to uncover sinister plans. The game is mostly text-based, with static graphics in some locations. It was the first video game to be rated by the British Board of Film Censors, earning a 15 certificate for its gore—CRL had hoped for an 18 certificate. CRL later released three more adventure games in a similar style: Frankenstein, Jack the Ripper, and Wolfman, all of which also received BBFC ratings.
