Laura Bissell
Laura Elizabeth Bissell (born 19 June 1983), nicknamed Lulu, is an English cyclist who competes in road and track events.
Born in Hitchin, England, Bissell lives in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. She started with Welwyn Wheelers and later rode for amateur and professional teams, including Fat Birds UK (2005), GS Strada (2006–2007), and scientific-coaching.com (2008). She competed as a rider in both road and track disciplines.
She represented Great Britain at international events and was part of the British Cycling Development Plan alongside Nicole Cooke. She competed in the 2000 and 2001 junior road world championships and the 2001 junior track world championships in Trexlertown, Pennsylvania.
Laura’s family has cycling ties; her brother, Peter Bissell, was also a cyclist.

- 2000: 1st in the British National 25-mile Time Trial; podiums in U16 events at the British National Track Championships.
- 2001: 4th in Pursuit at the British National Track Championships.

- 2007: Top placements in the Rudy Project National TT series; overall 3rd in the series; strong showings in several events; 15th in the British National 25-mile Time Trial.
- Personal bests include competitive times in 10 miles, 25 miles, 50 miles, and 3000 metres (best-known marks listed in her records).
