LaKendrick Jones
LaKendrick "Ken" Jones (born September 8, 1979) is a former American football lineman who played six seasons in the Arena Football League and had a brief stint in the NFL. He played college football at South Carolina State University.
Jones is 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighed 300 pounds during his playing days. He played for the South Carolina State Bulldogs from 1998 to 2002, and in his senior year in 2002 he had 53 tackles, 10 sacks, two pass breakups and three forced fumbles.
Undrafted in 2003, he signed with the San Francisco 49ers on May 2, 2003, but was released on July 16, 2003. He then joined the Columbus Destroyers in November 2003 and played for them through 2007, earning First-Team All-Arena honors in 2007. He signed with the Los Angeles Avengers on October 29, 2007 and played the 2008 season with them. Jones later signed with the Georgia Force on May 3, 2011.
Career AFL stats include 93.5 tackles, 19 sacks, 6 forced fumbles, 2 fumble recoveries and 16 pass breakups.
