Sadie Hawkins is the eleventh episode of Glee’s fourth season. It aired on January 24, 2013, and was written by Ross Maxwell and directed by Bradley Buecker.

Plot summary:
- Tina Cohen-Chang convinces Blaine to host a Sadie Hawkins dance at McKinley to empower the girls. Blaine, who has a crush on Sam Evans, ends up inviting the girls to perform for guests. Tina sings “I Don’t Know How to Love Him” for Blaine, but he turns her down because he likes Sam, who is discovering if the Warblers cheated at Sectionals.
- In New York, Kurt Hummel starts at NYADA and joins the glee club Adam’s Apples, led by Adam Crawford. Kurt is drawn to Adam and asks him out.
- In Lima, Brittany encourages Marley to invite Jake to the dance, while Jake is torn between Marley and Kitty. Jake ultimately goes with Marley, and Kitty ends up with Puck.
- Blaine and Tina attend as friends. Sam provides Finn with evidence that the Warblers used steroids, which Finn plans to use against them.
- Ryder Lynn performs “I Only Have Eyes for You” at the dance, and Rachel Berry invites Brody to move in with her.
- The episode features six songs performed by the cast, including “I Don’t Know How to Love Him,” “Tell Him,” “Locked Out of Heaven,” “No Scrubs,” “I Only Have Eyes for You,” and “Baby Got Back.” The last song caused a copyright controversy when Jonathan Coulton released his own version and donated proceeds to charity.

- Viewership was about 2.8 million with DVR, and the episode earned a 1.4 rating among adults 18-49. In Australia, it had about 269,000 viewers and was moved to the digital channel Eleven the following week.
