La Maxe
La Maxe is a small commune in northeastern France, in the Moselle department of the Grand Est region. It covers 17.55 square kilometers and has about 1,056 residents (2023). The area sits around 161–167 meters above sea level. La Maxe is part of Metz Métropole, in the Metz arrondissement and the Le Sillon Mosellan canton. The current mayor (2020–2026) is Bertrand Duval. The town is also known by its German name Masch. A notable feature is the church. The postal code is 57140 (INSEE code 57452).
