Brenne (river)

The Brenne is a river in eastern France, in the Côte-d'Or department of Burgundy. It is about 71.7 kilometers long. The river starts near Sombernon and generally flows northwest until it joins the Armançon at Buffon, about 6 kilometers downstream from Montbard. From there, its water travels to the Yonne, then the Seine, and finally reaches the English Channel.
