Kurt Reinhard (27 August 1914 – 18 July 1979) was a German musicologist and ethnomusicologist who specialized in Turkish music. He was born in Gießen, Germany. He studied musicology and composition at the University of Cologne (1933–1935) and ethnology at Leipzig and Munich (1935–1936). He earned his doctorate in Munich with a dissertation on Burmese music. From 1952 to 1968, he was the director of the Berliner Phonogramm-Archiv. His main research focus was the folk music of Turkey.
