Inconceivable (novel)
Inconceivable is a comedy novel by British author Ben Elton, published on 1 October 1999 by Bantam Press in the United Kingdom. The story follows a childless couple as they try to conceive, and is told through diary entries written by the two main characters.
The book was adapted into the film Maybe Baby, directed by Elton. The movie was released in June 2000, with filming beginning in the summer of 1999 and announced in June 1999.
Inconceivable sits between Blast from the Past (1998) and Dead Famous (2001) in Elton’s bibliography.
