Kokkalai is a busy business district in Thrissur city, Kerala, India. It houses Thrissur railway station, one of the busiest junctions in South India, connecting Thrissur with other parts of Kerala and India. The area also includes the Thrissur KSRTC Bus Station and a veterinary hospital run by the Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University. Hotels such as Sidhartha Regency and Casino are in the heart of Kokkalai. This area is in the southern part of the city.
