Kiarash Anvari is an Iranian film director, video artist, and screenwriter born on November 16, 1977, in Tehran. He earned a bachelor’s degree in filmmaking from Sooreh Higher Education Institute in Tehran and a master’s degree in film studies from the University of Provence in Aix-en-Provence, France. He has continued his studies with Ph.D. work in film philosophy. His works include titles such as Yesterday, Yesterday 15 Minutes Earlier; I Am a Purifier!; and And I Was Born to Sweet Delight!
