Hyacinthe Gaëtan de Lannion
Hyacinthe Gaëtan de Lannion (1719–1762) was a French politician and administrator. He was Governor of Vannes in Brittany from 1735 to 1762, a position and the title Count of Lannion he inherited from his father, Anne de Lannion. After France captured Minorca in 1756, he became Governor of Minorca, serving from 1756 to 1758 and again from 1760 to 1762. He was made a Knight of the Holy Spirit on 2 February 1759 and promoted to lieutenant general of the king’s armies on 17 December 1759. He died in 1762 and was succeeded by Emmanuel Marie Louis de Noailles.
