SS Yankee Arrow was an Arrow-class oil tanker built in 1921 for the Standard Oil Company of New York (Socony). She was built by the New York Shipbuilding Corporation in Camden, New Jersey, launched on May 10, 1921, and delivered on August 2, 1921. The ship was about 468 feet long, 62.6 feet wide, and could carry a large amount of oil, with a top speed of around 10.5 knots.

During World War II, Yankee Arrow reported being chased by a German U-boat on January 30, 1942. On August 2, 1943, while in convoy off Tunisia, she struck a naval mine near her port bow. A fire broke out, and although the crew fought to save her, the damage made her unfit for war service. Two armed guards and five merchant sailors died in the attack.

Afterwards, she served as a fuel storage ship off Sicily for several years under the War Shipping Administration. She was laid up in Marseille, France, in July 1945. In 1948 she was sold to F. Heuvelmans in Antwerp, Belgium, and was scrapped there later that year.
