Triage-G2 is a media-exploitation tool for computers and peripheral devices. It’s usually loaded on a USB drive (triage key) for field use by military personnel. USBs can be prepared in advance or in the field by choosing specific search criteria. The tool is designed so users don’t need advanced computer skills and is used by several U.S. Defense and Intelligence agencies.

Digital Evidence Investigator is another triage tool used by forensic examiners in labs or on-site to scan devices and decide which ones need full examinations. It is used by law enforcement agencies worldwide.
