Kade Harvey
Kade Murray Harvey (born 7 October 1975 in Subiaco, Western Australia) is a former Australian cricketer who played for Western Australia. An all-rounder, he batted right-handed, bowled right-arm medium, and often played in the lower middle order. Outside cricket, he is a qualified pharmacist.
Harvey came through Western Australia’s youth teams and spent time at the Australian Cricket Academy. He played for the national Under-19s in early 1995 against India, and later that year made his Western Australia debut in both first-class and domestic one-day cricket. He was soon regarded as a specialist one-day player.
He won the Best New Talent award after the 1996–97 Mercantile Mutual Cup season, when he took 18 one-day wickets, equalling the competition record.
In the 2003–04 ING Cup final, Harvey was Man of the Match, taking 4 for 28 and scoring 53 off 42 balls, helping Western Australia to victory in a 75-run partnership with Darren Wates.
Harvey’s only first-class century was an unbeaten 100 against Tasmania at Bellerive Oval in 2004.
