1990 Washington Redskins season

The Redskins, led by owner Jack Kent Cooke, president John Kent Cooke, general manager Charley Casserly, head coach and offensive coordinator Joe Gibbs, and defensive coordinator Richie Petitbon, played at RFK Stadium. They finished 10-6, the same as 1989, and placed 3rd in the NFC East, earning their first playoff berth since 1987.

In the playoffs, they defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 20-6 in the wild-card round, then lost to the San Francisco 49ers 28-10 in the divisional round.
