Jolanta Tarvida
Jolanta Tarvida, born February 8, 2000 in Bauska, Latvia, is a Latvian taekwondo athlete. She started practicing taekwondo in 2006, and her older sister Inese Tarvida also competes in taekwondo. Jolanta is 178 cm tall.
She has won several medals at major events:
- 2014 World Taekwondo Cadet Championships (Baku): silver in 44 kg
- 2017 European Junior Championships (Larnaca): bronze in 57 kg
- 2017 European Championships (G-1, Olympic weights): bronze in 57 kg (sharing the podium with her sister, who took silver)
- 2018 European U21 Championships (Warsaw): silver in 57 kg
- 2019 European U21 Championships (Helsingborg): gold in 57 kg (U21 European champion)
- 2024 European Championships (Belgrade): bronze in 67 kg
