Infinity Early College High School
Infinity Early College High School (Infinity ECHS) is a public high school in Porter, Texas, and part of the New Caney Independent School District. It partners with Lone Star College Kingwood to give students both a high school diploma and an associate degree.
Founded in 2013 for New Caney and Porter residents, Infinity ECHS moved to a new building in January 2018 so students can walk to the college. Enrollment was about 395 students in 2021-22. About 43% were at risk of dropping out, and 60% came from low-income families. The school colors are purple and black, and its mascot is the Knights. It competes in UIL Class AAA and offers Advanced Placement courses and the National Honor Society.
Infinity ECHS had a 100% graduation rate in 2021-22. College readiness is very high: about 98.6% ready in reading, 97.3% in math, and 95.9% in both, much higher than district averages. Children at Risk ranks Infinity ECHS 11th among Greater Houston area secondary schools, and Niche gives it an A.
