Jim May (Australian footballer)
Jim May, full name James Walter May, was an Australian rules footballer born on 15 April 1910 in Wycheproof, Victoria. He played for Footscray in the Victorian Football League during the 1940 and 1941 seasons, appearing in 6 games and kicking 3 goals. He originally played for Golden Square in the Bendigo Football League, and he was 188 cm tall and weighed 87 kg. May passed away on 24 November 1979 in Caulfield South, Victoria. After his football career, he served in the Royal Australian Air Force during the final years of World War II.
