Jake Paringatai
Jake Paringatai (born 13 April 1980 in Paraparaumu, New Zealand) is a former rugby union loose forward. He went to Kapiti College and played high-level rugby at provincial, Super Rugby, and international levels.
He represented Northland (2003–2007, 2013) with 63 appearances and 30 points, and Poverty Bay (2014–15). In Super Rugby, he played for the Crusaders in 2007 (4 games) and the Highlanders in 2013 (6 games). He also had overseas stints with Munster in Ireland (2007–08) and Fukuoka Sanix Blues in Japan (2009–12).
Internationally, Paringatai was part of the Māori All Blacks from 2004 to 2006, earning five caps and five points.
