Ingrid Föst
Ingrid Föst (born Ingrid Michaelis on 9 November 1934) is a retired German artistic gymnast who competed for East Germany. She was born in Nowawes, Potsdam-Babelsberg, Germany.
Föst took part in the 1960 and 1964 Summer Olympics in all artistic gymnastics events. The German team finished sixth in 1960 and fourth in 1964. Her best individual Olympic result was fifth place on the floor exercise in 1964.
At the European Championships in 1959 and 1961 she won one silver medal and five bronze medals, earning podium finishes in events such as Vault, Uneven Bars, All-Around, and Balance Beam.
