21st Continental Regiment
Ward's Regiment, officially the 21st Continental Regiment, was formed on April 23, 1775 in Cambridge, Massachusetts as a Massachusetts militia unit led by Colonel Jonathan Ward. It joined the Continental Army in June 1775 and fought in the Siege of Boston, the New York Campaign, and the Battle of Trenton. The regiment was disbanded on January 1, 1777 in Morristown, New Jersey.
