Ibrahim Adamu Kolo
Ibrahim Adamu Kolo (29 October 1956 – November 2018) was a Nigerian academic from Mokwa, Niger State. He studied at UMCA Primary School, St. John’s Anglican Primary, and Government College Bida, and earned advanced degrees from the College of Education Sokoto, Bayero University Kano, and the University of Jos. He taught in the Faculty of Education at Bayero University Kano. He served as Provost of the Niger State College of Education in Minna from 2001 to 2010 and as Vice-Chancellor of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University in Lapai from January 2010 to 2015. He had four children. Kolo died in Minna in November 2018 after a brief illness. His death was described as a great loss to Niger State’s education sector and to Nigeria.
