Qishla of Mecca, also known in Arabic as قشلة مكة and in Turkish as Mekke Redif Kışlası, was a fortress in Mecca, now in Saudi Arabia. Built in the 1700s as a military barracks for the Ottoman Army, it stood in the Jarwal district on the western side of the city. On June 10, 1916, Sharifian forces attacked and besieged the barracks. The Saudi government later demolished the building to make way for modern hotels facing the Grand Mosque. The Turkish word qishla means barracks.
