Hsieh Wen-cheng (Chinese: 謝文政) is a Taiwanese businessman, diplomat, and politician. He studied diplomacy at National Chengchi University in Taiwan and earned a Master of Laws from Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand. He worked for Taiwan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and served as the section chief of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in Japan. He also led groups in Japan, including the Overseas Chinese Federation in Japan, the Chambers of Industry and Commerce in Japan, and the Tokyo Sun Yat-sen Institute. In September 2004, the Kuomintang nominated him to the Legislative Yuan to represent overseas Chinese, and he served as a legislator from 2005 to 2008.
