Lewis Bean
Lewis Bean (born 12 February 1992) is an English professional rugby union player who plays as a lock for Montauban in France. He is 2.03 m tall and weighs 127 kg. Bean also serves as a Corporal in the British Army with The Rifles and has completed two tours of Afghanistan.
Bean's club career started with Birmingham Moseley (2017–2019). In 2019 he trained with Worcester Warriors and played in the Premiership Cup and Shield before signing for Northampton Saints for the 2019–20 season, making 15 appearances. In November 2020 he was loaned to Glasgow Warriors, making his debut against Ulster and becoming Glasgow Warrior No. 317. In February 2021 it was announced the move would be permanent, and he stayed with Glasgow through 2023, making 40 appearances and scoring four tries. He also had a loan spell with Bedford Blues (7 appearances). Bean joined Montauban for the 2023–24 season.
Bean also played for the Army Rugby Union, including the Army v Navy centenary match at Twickenham.
