True Obsessions

True Obsessions is the fourth studio album by guitarist Marty Friedman. It was released in Japan on April 17, 1996 by Toshiba EMI and in the United States on October 8, 1996 by Shrapnel Records. Recording took place from November 6, 1995 to February 14, 1996 at several studios in California and Arizona: Far Planet Studios (Van Nuys), Jai Winding Studios (Santa Monica), Vintage Recorders (Phoenix), and Wilkinson Productions (Sun Valley). The album runs 49 minutes and 40 seconds and features instrumental rock and hard rock. Friedman produced the album with Steve Fontano. This was the last Marty Friedman album to feature Nick Menza on drums. All tracks were written by Marty Friedman unless noted.
