Steve Guy is a former professional tennis player from New Zealand, born on 15 March 1959 in Wellington. He played right-handed and reached a career-high singles ranking of 109 in November 1988 and a doubles ranking of 97 in January 1989.

In doubles, Guy won one ATP title, the 1989 Heineken Open in Auckland, and he earned a Grand Slam doubles win at the 1988 Australian Open with Bruce Derlin. He also partnered Stefan Edberg at the 1991 Australian Open. In singles, he appeared in three Australian Opens but never advanced past the second round, though he did win a set against Boris Becker in the 1989 tournament. His best singles runs were quarterfinal appearances at the 1988 Frankfurt Open, the 1990 OTB International Open, and the 1990 Benson & Hedges Open. He also won the 1986 Singapore Open on grass at the Singapore Cricket Club, the event’s 65th and final edition.

Gu y played for New Zealand in the Davis Cup, appearing in seven ties with a singles record of 3–4 and a doubles record of 2–1. He had one notable upset at the Benson & Hedges Open as a wildcard, defeating Miloslav Mečíř, then the world No. 25 and second seed.
