Hey Duggee is a British cartoon for preschoolers. It was created by Grant Orchard and is made by Studio AKA with BBC Studios. The show is about Duggee, a friendly dog who runs The Squirrel Club, a club for young children.

Each episode follows Duggee and the Squirrels as they do fun activities and go on adventures. At the end, they earn a badge that fits what they learned or did. There isn’t a single formula, and the episodes often include playful jokes or references to pop culture.

The Squirrels are talking animals, and Duggee speaks with woofs. The animation is simple and bright, using a bold, minimal style. The show is narrated by Alexander Armstrong.

Hey Duggee has five series and over 200 episodes. A spinoff called Hey Duggee’s Squirrel Club started in 2025, and new seasons have been planned as well.

The show has been praised for its charm and creativity. The Stick Song, from a popular episode, has millions of views online. Critics from The Guardian even described the series as “peerless.”
