Gampi

Gampi (also called ganpi) refers to several Japanese shrubs in the Wikstroemia genus. Some gampi plants have been used to make paper since the 8th century. Like kōzo and mitsumata, gampi fibers help produce high-quality washi, the traditional Japanese paper.
