Halfweg-Zwanenburg railway station
Halfweg-Zwanenburg railway station is in the west of Halfweg, near Zwanenburg, in the Netherlands. It opened on 9 December 2012 on the Amsterdam–Rotterdam line.
There used to be a Halfweg station from 1839 to 1927; the new station is roughly where the old one was. It sits on the Oude Lijn between Amsterdam Sloterdijk and Haarlem Spaarnwoude and mainly serves Halfweg and Zwanenburg, as well as Haarlemmerliede and nearby settlements.
A tree was planted beside the platform on 30 April 2013 in honor of King Willem-Alexander.
As of 9 December 2018, the station is served by two Sprinter lines: 4800 (Amsterdam Sloterdijk to Hoorn) and 5400 (Haarlem Spaarnwoude to Zandvoort).
