Denys Serhiyovych Yurchenko (born 27 January 1978 in Donetsk) is a Ukrainian pole vaulter. He won three medals at indoor championships: the 2004 World Indoor Championships in Budapest, the 2005 European Indoor Championships in Madrid, and the 2007 European Indoor Championships in Birmingham. He had a groin injury at the 2000 Olympics that ended his season, and he originally won bronze in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. In November 2016 the IOC disqualified him from the 2008 Games, stripped his bronze medal, and erased his results after a re-analysis of his 2008 drug test; in May 2017 he received a two-year ban. His outdoor personal best is 5.83 metres, set in Kyiv in July 2008.
