Grove City Area School District
Grove City Area School District is a public, rural school district in southeastern Mercer County, Pennsylvania. It serves the communities of Grove City, Pine Township, Wolf Creek Township, Springfield Township, and Liberty Township, covering about 92 square miles. The district’s population was about 16,500 in 2000 and about 17,700 in 2010; per capita income was about $17,300 and median family income about $45,600 (2009). The district operates four schools: Highland Primary Center (K–1), Hillview Intermediate Center (2–5), a middle school (6–8), and a high school (9–12). It offers many clubs, activities, and sports. The school colors are gold and black, and the motto is “To Equip all Students for Successful Futures.” The district website is grovecity.k12.pa.us.
