Zé Peixe
José Martins Ribeiro Nunes (5 January 1927 – 26 April 2012), known as Zé Peixe or Joe Fish, was a Brazilian maritime pilot. Instead of using a boat to reach ships at sea, he swam to and from the ships, sometimes jumping over 40 meters high and swimming about 10 kilometers a day. He was from Aracaju, Brazil, and worked as a pilot from 1947.
