Goodbye Happiness (film)
Goodbye Happiness (French: Au revoir le bonheur) is a 2021 French-Canadian comedy-drama film directed by Ken Scott. It follows four brothers—Nicolas (François Arnaud), Thomas (Antoine Bertrand), Charles-Alexandre (Louis Morissette) and William (Patrice Robitaille)—who are not close but try to mend their differences at their father's funeral. The cast also includes Julie Le Breton, Charlotte Aubin, Marilyse Bourke, Élizabeth Duperré, Geneviève Boivin-Roussy and Pierre-Yves Cardinal. The film was produced by Christal Films and distributed by Les Films Opale. It runs 108 minutes and is in French. It premiered in theatres on December 17, 2021. It received two Canadian Screen Award nominations in 2022 for Best Editing (Yvann Thibaudeau) and Best Original Song ("Drop the Rock" by Nicolas Errèra and Craig Walker).
