1868 United States presidential election in Indiana

An election was held in Indiana on November 3, 1868, as part of the nationwide U.S. presidential election. The Republican ticket of Ulysses S. Grant (from Illinois) and Schuyler Colfax defeated the Democratic ticket of Horatio Seymour (from New York) and Francis P. Blair Jr.

Indiana voters chose 13 electors for the Electoral College. Grant won the state with 176,552 votes (51.4%), while Seymour received 166,980 votes (48.6%). Turnout was 92.5%.

Nationally, Grant won the presidency with 214 electoral votes.
