Glyphidocera is a genus of moths in the Autostichidae family, within the subfamily Glyphidocerinae. It belongs to the animal kingdom, the arthropods, the insects, and the order Lepidoptera. The genus was described by Walsingham in 1892. Its synonyms include Ptilostonychia (Walsingham, 1911), Harpagandra (Meyrick, 1918), and Stibarenches (Meyrick, 1930).
