Gerald McRath
Gerald McRath (born June 16, 1986) is a former American football linebacker who played in the NFL. He played college football for the Southern Miss Golden Eagles and was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the fourth round (130th overall) of the 2009 NFL Draft after posting a 4.59-second 40-yard dash, among the fastest at his position that year. He attended McEachern High School in Powder Springs, Georgia.
McRath played for the Titans from 2009 to 2012. His NFL career stats include 120 total tackles, 1.5 sacks, and 1 interception. He was suspended for the first four games of the 2010 season for violating NFL policy on performance-enhancing substances.
After his playing career, McRath became an assistant defensive coach at Maplewood High School in Nashville, Tennessee. During his college career, he earned honors such as Freshman All-American (2006) and Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year (2007).
