Cam Roigard
Cam Roigard is a New Zealand rugby union player who plays as a half-back for the Hurricanes in Super Rugby and Counties Manukau in the NPC. He was born on 16 November 2000 in Hamilton, New Zealand, and is 1.83 m tall, weighing 88 kg. He attended St. Peter’s School.
Roigard began his senior career with Counties Manukau in 2020, making 19 appearances and scoring 37 points. He joined the Hurricanes in 2021 as a late replacement and earned a full contract in 2022. In 2023 he was the Hurricanes’ joint top try-scorer with nine tries in 14 games.
In March 2024 he ruptured his left patella tendon, ending his season. He has also played for the Counties Manukau Steelers since 2020, earning Steelers’ Player of the Year, Players’ Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year in 2022.
Internationally, Roigard played for the All Blacks XV in 2022, debuting off the bench against Ireland A on 5 November 2022. He made his All Blacks debut on 29 July 2023 against Australia in Melbourne and was part of New Zealand’s 2023 Rugby World Cup squad, making his tournament debut against Namibia and also playing Uruguay and Italy. He returned to the All Blacks on the 2024 Northern Tour, playing four tests. As of 14 September 2025 he has 17 caps and 60 points for New Zealand.
