Father Lacombe High School
Father Lacombe High School is a Catholic high school in Calgary, Alberta. It serves grades 10 to 12 and is located in the southeast community of Radisson Heights. The school is named after Father Albert Lacombe.
The school offers English, French, Spanish, and Filipino language options. It is one of Calgary’s schools that offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme in English, French, Spanish, as well as in Dance and Visual Arts. Father Lacombe is also part of the Action for Bright Children Society.
Athletics are a big part of school life. Teams compete in football, basketball, soccer, cross country, badminton, track and field, rugby, wrestling, swimming, and volleyball, with both boys’ and girls’ teams at junior and senior levels. The principal is Joy Pablo-Wrzosek, and the school has over 1,200 students. The team name is Laser Nation, and the school colors are green, blue, white, and black.
