Saint Kitts and Nevis visa policy (short version)

- You need a visa to visit unless your country is visa-exempt.

- OECS residents: Citizens and residents of Saint Kitts and Nevis and other OECS nationals may live and work indefinitely in SKN without restrictions.

- eTA rules: SKN citizens and OECS nationals are exempt from the eTA requirement but must fill an Online Immigration and Customs ED Form.

- Since May 26, 2025, many travelers can enter with an eTA. A single-entry eTA costs USD 17 and is valid for 90 days. There is no multiple-entry eTA.

- Cruise ships: Cruise passengers can visit for day trips without an eTA.

- Haiti: Diplomats or official passport holders and ordinary Haitian passport holders traveling on business can stay visa-free for up to 6 months.

- Visa exemptions signed (but not yet ratified): San Marino (2019), Togo (2019), Georgia (2019), Marshall Islands (2019); Sudan (2022) – not ratified.

- If you need a visa: You can apply for an e-Visa; with approval you can get a visa on arrival for USD 100; maximum stay is 30 days.
