Alexei Volodin (born 1977) is a Russian pianist. He started piano lessons at age nine in St. Petersburg, then moved to Moscow a year later. There he studied with Irina Chaklina and later Tatiana Zelikman at the Gnessin Music School. He graduated from the Moscow Conservatory, where he studied with Eliso Virsaladze. In 2003 he won first prize at the Géza Anda International Piano Competition. Volodin has given recitals around the world and performed with major orchestras.
