George Hair (28 April 1925 – 1994) was an English professional footballer who played as a winger. He was born in Ryton, Tyne and Wear, England, and was 5 ft 4 in tall. He began his career with Spen Juniors (1942–1943). He then played for Newcastle United from 1943 to 1946, making 23 league appearances and scoring 7 goals. Hair moved to Grimsby Town, where he played from 1946 to 1951 and made 68 appearances with 8 goals. He later played for Peterborough United (1951–1953), Boston United (1953–1957), and Spalding United (from 1957).
