Phoracantha punctata is a species of longhorn beetle native to Australia. It belongs to the family Cerambycidae, subfamily Cerambycinae. The binomial name is Phoracantha punctata, described by Donovan in 1805. It has synonyms including Stenocorus punctatus (Donovan, 1805), Phoracantha quinaria (Newman, 1840), and Phoracantha fallax (Pascoe, 1863).

Males are 12–26 mm long; females are 14–27 mm long. They are dark reddish-brown to almost black, with pale markings on the elytra (wing covers).
